Introducing our favourite new dish…Crunchy, buttery, cheesy, delicate, sweet & SO easy to make!
Ingredients for 1 twist:
2 sheets of phyllo pastry
100g Danish Feta crumbled
2 tbsp chopped mint
1/3 cup melted butter
Honey to top
Sesame seeds to top
Method:
1. Pre-heat your oven to 180°C
2. Take a small bowl and mix your feta and mint together
3. Brush your phyllo sheets with butter
4. After you have buttered your phyllo sheets, place them on top of each other
5. Place your cheese mixture in a line on the phyllo sheet approximately 10cm from the edge of the sheet closest to you
6. Roll your phyllo and cheese mixture into a long “sausage”
7. Once you have formed a “sausage” take the one end of the roll and start rolling it inwards into a snail shape
8. Brush your twist with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds
9. Cook for 30 minutes or until golden brown in a greased baking tray
10. Once it is cooked, drizzle with honey and serve immediately as it is best eaten hot!
